Hi folks, For the first time this season we had all 4 teams in action but unfortunately only managed 2 out of 4 wins. Asim Hafeez with a great all round performance kicked off the season leading his team to a nail biting win over Leatherhead 3rd XI by 4 wkts. Carls crazy gang returned to winning ways thrashing Bansteads 4th XI by 8 wkts. The 1s and 2s both unfortunately lost miserably.

The 4’s played away at Banstead cc, and after losing the toss got told to field, much to the skippers dismay. Bansted scored at a steady pace against the 2 opening bowlers, but after the 1st bowling change the wickets started falling. Great bowling performances by Louwrens (5 overs 2 for 6), Johnny(7 overs 1 for 36), Ross(7 overs 1 for 18), Charles (9 overs 2 for 20)and debutant Joey(6.3 overs 3 for 10) saw us bowling Bansted out for 151 in their 45 overs. After a lovely tea break we went out to bat expecting a great bowling attack, but after Johnny got run out for 17 by a clear mile, Etienne (70*) and Charles (56) saw us home in 29 overs. A special word of thanks for Chuck, thanks for coming on saturday.
